For sale: a well-maintained, technically sound, and fully travel-ready 1988 camper – Laika Lasehome 57 A (Fiat Ducato base).

This is an old but extremely reliable model, which, due to its build quality, will outlast many modern new campers. Because of the simplicity of the engine and other technical components, it can be serviced by any workshop, and with minimal knowledge, all service work can easily be done yourself.

The camper is completely autonomous, making it ideal for those who love the wild, relaxing far from civilization, and long trips without any need to visit campsites.

Technical condition and work performed:

Engine: In 2020, the factory 2.0-liter naturally aspirated diesel engine was replaced with a more powerful and advanced 2.5 l Turbo Diesel (102 HP / 75 kW). The total mileage of the engine since the replacement is about 70,000 km. All oils, bearings, and the timing belt have just been changed.

Driving comfort: Power steering has been additionally installed, ensuring much easier and more comfortable driving and maneuvering.

Body condition: The camper is completely dry, has no leaks anywhere, and there is not a single trace of mold. The vehicle was maintained at a specialized camper service center.

Technical inspection (TA): Performed in February of this year. Passed on the first attempt without any defects. Valid for almost two years.

Chassis and gearbox: The gearbox and chassis have been fully restored. New springs, shock absorbers, and new brakes have been installed. Airbags with a compressor are mounted on the rear axle.

Tires: New all-season tires (winter/summer) were fitted before the technical inspection; only 20 km have been driven to the parking spot since installation.

Batteries: Both the starter and leisure batteries are brand new.

Additional equipment: Equipped with a rear-view camera. The awning fabric was replaced with completely new material six months ago.

Electrical and gas system (Autonomy):

Solar power plant: 600W solar modules mounted on the roof, Victron MultiPlus 1600W inverter/charger.

Additional batteries: Two long-lasting Victron Gel Deep Cycle batteries (2x12V / 110Ah) are installed in the cabin. The electrical power is fully sufficient for cooking, a microwave, and a kettle. All system batteries are charged by the sun.

Gas: Two 27 l certified aluminum gas cylinders, refillable at gas stations. A set of gas adapters for traveling abroad is included.

Sanitary unit:

Large comfortable shower (possible to sit).

Toilet with a stationary ~70 l tank (no need to carry cassettes, very convenient when staying in nature for longer periods).

Extras for the buyer:
I am also including an Android multimedia system that hasn't been installed yet, new shower heads, and other expensive components purchased for upgrades.
