Kia Picanto with AUTOMATIC gearbox.

This car has a very reliable 1.25 cm3 four-cylinder engine. It is almost impossible to find a car in this class on the market with a 4-cylinder instead of a 3-cylinder engine. The advantages of a 4-cylinder engine are its longevity and smooth operation. Competitors' 3-cylinder engines vibrate a lot and are very unreliable. Believe me, I know what I am saying because I have been working at a Kia dealership for 18 years myself.

The car's automatic gearbox is a (good old simple automatic), it is truly very reliable. These automatics were installed until the end of 2020. In 2021, a robotic (manual-automatic) gearbox began to be installed in Picanto cars. It does not have a P (parking function) and you need to pull the handbrake when stopping, otherwise the car will roll away. Newer Picanto automatics simply have a manual gearbox where the gears are shifted by a robot with a 2-3 second delay.
Not only do the gearboxes of newer Picanto years shift gears slowly, they are also unreliable.
