Economical and well-maintained car for sale
The car has been in Lithuania since 2017, purchased from a car transporter. I am the second owner in Lithuania, and it has been in my hands from 2019 until now. Quite a few kilometers have been driven during this period, so I can tell you a lot about this car – just ask what interests you.
The car is better suited for city driving – the suspension is firmer, but it drives fun, is maneuverable, and there is definitely enough power for daily use; I had it remapped (chipped), so it drives more enjoyably than usual. Throughout all these years, the car was maintained on time, with all necessary parts and fluids changed promptly and without sparing any expense. I could list on and on from the chassis, engine, clutch, gearbox, to all fluids – everything was changed at one point or another over these passing years. The engine chains were also replaced 3 years ago, so they won't need changing anytime soon; documents are available as well.
Since the car is not new and was used daily, the body has signs of use corresponding to its age and mileage – scratches and some dents. However, this does not interfere with its use at all.
The engine runs perfectly; oil was always changed every 10,000 km. Currently, the next oil change is scheduled upon reaching 285,000 km. There are currently no faults hindering operation.
There are two keys. I also have quite a few service documents and invoices from the period when the car was still abroad. During my ownership, I have also accumulated many invoices for repairs, technical maintenance, and other works, so the car's history is quite clear.
Known defects:
Body scratches and a few minor dents.
The handbrake pads should be replaced – adjustment no longer helps. The handbrake still holds, but quite weakly.
The driver's seat is worn.
The steering wheel shows signs of use.
However, all this only shows that the car was used for its intended purpose and was driven, rather than sitting in a parking lot or a repair shop. Oh, also the clear coat on the rear bumper has started to peel and a tiny, tiny rust spot appeared on the fender. Regarding rust, even the service staff are surprised how a kia of this age hasn't rusted and everything still looks good.
For more than five years, the car remained in my hands rather than traveling from owner to owner. I think this says a lot about its reliability and maintenance.
About 700 km ago, the valve cover gasket was replaced because it had started leaking oil. Last winter, the battery was replaced – the old one was tired after 5 years of service. The car starts without problems in both winter and summer.
The car can be checked at a service center. Of course, it is not a new car, but with proper maintenance, it will serve for many more years.
I will also include quite a few chassis parts with the car: bushings, tie rods, and other components that I had bought for the future but never needed. The parts have been sitting in the garage for about a year.
Regarding the price, we will definitely find common ground and reach an agreement on-site.
