Chrysler PT Cruiser 2.2 CRD (2004) – A faithful long-time friend is looking for a new home!

For sale: a blue PT Cruiser (2.2 CRD diesel, 89 kW) – a car with an exceptionally transparent and consistent history!

This has been a reliable, long-term friend to me and my family, but for the past 3–4 years, it simply hasn't received enough attention and has been sitting sadly in the yard. The reason is simple – younger, larger, and more capable "friends" appeared in the yard, and travel arrangements had to be adapted for a growing family of 4. Therefore, as sad as it may be, the time has come for this time-tested, wonderful car to find a new owner.

WHY IS IT WORTH YOUR ATTENTION?
Interior – clean and cosmically practical: The interior has been maintained very tidily, no tears, no bad odors (almost like new). The rear seats fold easily and are removable, and the front passenger seat folds into a flat table (Fold Flat), so the PT Cruiser's capacity and functionality will surprise many!

Serviced at official service centers: All major repairs were performed at service centers, with invoices and receipts to prove it.

Comprehensive 2023-08 service: Before the 2023 technical inspection, the car underwent an extremely thorough and major preventive maintenance of its components:
- Replaced fuel injector.
- Fully renewed front suspension and steering mechanism: replaced tie rod ends on both sides, inner transverse tie rod, ball joint, control arm / torque rod, and the friction bearing for the suspension strut mount.
- Replaced fuel filter (Blue Print), air filter (JC Premium), oil filter (Knecht), and filled with high-quality Ravenol engine oil.
- Wheel alignment performed.

Since this technical service, the car has been practically unused.

Fresh battery: A new battery was installed in 2025-07 with a valid 24-month warranty.

Long-term TA (MOT): The technical inspection is valid until 2027-08-04!

HONESTLY ABOUT THE DEFECTS
The main downside is age and body aesthetics. There are surface rust spots and paint bubbling near the fenders, wheel arches, or body edges. Part of the body still has a good factory shine, but with a little work on the bodywork – the car will look great again.
