I am selling a BMW F31 with what I believe is the highest mileage in Lithuania. Driven ~486k. 2-liter diesel, 105kw. The car has seen some life, the front bumper is tired, and there are also a couple of other body scratches (see photos).

Defects:
-Differential oil seal is oily, needs to be replaced.
-Rear brake discs are affected by corrosion; they do the job, but will need replacement sooner or later.
-Rear shock absorber is leaking oil; it still performs its function for now, but should be replaced soon.
-Cracked valve cover which leaks a bit of oil from time to time (needs 1 liter of oil topped up every 5-6k km).
-Rear right door does not respond to the key.
-Melted front door handles (a typical issue for these BMWs). Plastic ones can be ordered from China for ~20eur if it bothers you much.

All defects reflect the car's mileage. Nothing tragic from a mechanical standpoint.

Now, on to the good things. Technical inspection (MOT) passed two months ago, maintenance performed 2k km ago. The last 5 services were done every 8k km. The engine runs like a bee, no strange noises or rattles. The gearbox shifts gears smoothly as it should. New summer tires + I would include winter tires (purchased brand new in the middle of last winter). Also, I can give away angel eyes, but you won't pass the technical inspection with them as they are for RHD (UK) models.
In summary, the car has seen life and the body more or less reveals that. It would require an investment of about 1-1.2k eur. The car is still a great workhorse and wonderful for long trips.

The car is used daily, being sold because I want something newer.
