Ecological tines SMS Lanio (weeders)

Ecological tines SMS Lanio is an implement designed for both meadow and field work. For light soils, 6 mm tines can be used. Standard 7 mm tines, intended for normal soil types, can be replaced with 8 mm tines, which can be used in meadows or heavy soils. 6 rows of tines with 25 mm spacing between rows have the greatest impact on the entire cultivation process.

Flexible tines penetrate the dry soil surface and break up the hard upper layer. This ensures air access to the roots and the disruption of water capillaries, so the water remains in the soil. Despite the remaining water, the most important purpose of the tines is weeding. Very aggressively shaped tines pull weeds to the surface, where they dry out. The main factor in weeding efficiency is the timing of the tines' use, as the weed must be in the initial growth stage.

When processing meadows, moss and old grass are removed from the lawn by the tines. The removal of moss facilitates grass growth. The tines can be used together with a seeder for additional grass overseeding or fertilization.
