Classic Nordic folkboat yacht, mahogany.

For sale: a reliable, safe, and sturdy Nordic Folkboat model MAHOGANY/Oak (mahogany on oak) yacht with a superstructure improved for touring and a larger cabin.

In good condition, loved and maintained, but as the family grew it became too cramped, so with a heavy heart, I am looking for a new owner for the boat.

The sails are not new but are in good condition, and the mainsail additionally has 3 reefs, which significantly increases sailing safety and comfort.

Due to the shallow draft, the yacht is perfectly suited for sailing in inland waters without being restricted to fairways, comfortably approaching wherever you wish, while the long keel allows you to practically ignore nets in the lagoon or other bodies of water.

An outboard, very lightly used, four-stroke, 6HP YAMAHA engine quietly but confidently assists in marinas or the water area when the wind stops blowing completely.

The cabin is equipped with three comfortable sleeping berths and leaves complete creative freedom for those wishing to install other yacht comfort elements: a navigation station, galley, head, webasto, table, another berth, or whatever else is desired.

The yacht's exterior was fully overhauled in 2012 (I have detailed photos of the entire renovation), and in 2021 it was refreshed by repainting/revarnishing the superstructure.

The yacht has a wooden, strong, but easily disassembled and reassembled storage cradle if needed.

The yacht is currently hauled out and located in the Kaunas Yacht Club territory, but upon agreement on the purchase, I can deliver it to any location in Lithuania.

The yacht has not been operated for the last few seasons, so it is dry and ideally suited for performing desired/necessary work in preparation for the sailing season. Before further operation, the hull below the waterline should now be updated: sanded, primed, and coated with antifouling. At the new owner's request and by separate agreement, I could perform these tasks.

A wooden boat, besides its unique charm, also has a larger maintenance component compared to plastic boats. It requires more attention. Therefore, to have a boat fully prepared for sailing by the start of the upcoming season, now is the best time to perform all necessary work.
