I am selling an exclusive, eye-catching 2002 BMW E46 2.3l (M54B22). A lot of love, money, and time has been invested into this project. The underbody is in quite good condition for such a car; the lifting points are not rotted. It stood unused for most of this year. After the storage period, a full interior chemical cleaning was performed. As for the engine and gearbox, they work perfectly; the chassis is tidy, with no extraneous noises or rattles.

Performed modifications and exterior trim:

Body: M3 replica front bumper with CSL style splitters and universal side canards. Custom hood with air cooling vents. Installed and painted widebody rear fenders, rear FancyWide diffuser, and a fairly rare Ducktail style spoiler.
Wheels and chassis: White Japan Racing JR11 R18 wheels with nearly new summer tires. Installed height-adjustable coilovers, front camber plates for wheel tilt, and 13mm wheel spacers. A front strut bar is installed under the hood to make the car more stable in corners.

Exhaust and air intake: I ordered REV MATCH Catless intake manifolds from America and installed them; the rest of the exhaust is factory. I also made a custom cold air intake myself with a special cover so that the cold air filter doesn't take in hot air from the engine. After these improvements, the ECU was reprogrammed to ensure engine performance, better fuel consumption on the highway, and increased power; currently, the engine develops about 140 kW (instead of 125 kW). The car drives much more lively and sounds quite good. I also replaced the hood insulation with new material.

Lights and lighting: I installed RGB Angel Eyes in the headlights, the colors of which can be changed and adjusted with a remote control. Also installed LED high and low beam bulbs, while the front fog lights have been converted into bright LED bars; tinted LED lights are installed at the rear, and the main turn signals are also LED. The interior lighting also features bright LED bulbs.

As for the interior itself, I installed a VERTEX sports steering wheel with a quick-release function, and there is also a short shifter. As you can see on the dashboard, there are two gauges: air/fuel ratio and oil pressure; special red switches are wired to connect them. To match the red color, I painted all interior trim pieces red – there isn't another interior like it. The seats, especially the rear ones, are well-preserved.

Work performed in 2025:
Repainted front fenders, repainted rear bumper and hood (while cutting air vents).
Updated front chassis: replaced with new control arms, ball joints, hubs, and steering rack; installed coilovers. Wheel alignment performed.
Installed new perforated and slotted sports brake discs, changed brake pads.
Replaced rear shock absorber guards and handbrake backing plate.
At 232,000 km, a full oil change was performed, a new thermostat and water pump were installed, along with a new expansion tank cap.

Current defects / shortcomings:
Front and rear light errors are lit on the dashboard (appeared after installing LED lights, can be programmed out).
The oil pressure gauge in the cabin is currently not working (connections need to be checked).
The body and interior have minimal, natural wear marks and minor scratches consistent with the car's age. The fabric is slightly rubbed in a couple of places in the interior.
The front passenger door check strap creaks when opened more widely, usually on hot days (I have already bought a new door check strap and will include it – you just need to replace it).

What is included when buying the car:

A set of winter alloy wheels with new, practically unused winter tires.
A new, not yet installed hydraulic handbrake (for locking the rear wheels).
BMW E46 GTR front bumper (fitting/modification for installation was started, but there was a lack of time to finish).
A set of new brake pads.
Also all original parts that were removed during modification: original catalytic converters, original steering wheel with multifunction buttons, original rear lights, original air intake box, and all 4 lowering Eibach springs that the car arrived with from Germany.
